Should I text him?

How often do you sit around at debate if you, or a female friend, should initiate a correspondence with a young man? I will not speak for any of you but, I know that for me and mine it happens all the time. All of us have different rules and philosophies about what is, or is not, appropriate and when, or if, we, as ladies, should make a first move.
